Hi, and welcome to MacKenzieSmith.com,

I am an aspiring filmmaker (among many other things) looking to work with other creative people in the pursuit of entertainment and education.  I'm learning as I go, but I'm a quick learner and from the feedback I've gotten from my colleagues and mentors, things are going well.

I'm interested in all aspects of film and television production and am currently, and perhaps perpetually working on writing a couple screenplays and teleplays.  I am fortunate enough to be working with some of the folks from Emerging Artist Productions on a variety of projects at the moment.  One of these projects is a Childrens TV show airing each Saturday (reruns Sunday) called Veronica's Blog.  It's a great show, and fantastic experience.  I have gotten to try my hand at camera operating, writing, grip and high-wire acrobatic rigging master.

I am also currently working on a variety of student films with writers and directors in Northern California.

Over the coming months I will be adding content and pages to this site to make it more useful, interesting and functional.  Please bear with me as I get it up and running.
